- A veterinarian qualified to work in Australia with at least 18 months of full-time work experience in companion animal practice, living within one hour’s journey of our hospital during peak hour traffic.
THE POSITION
As a Veterinarian, you are responsible for the professional management of all clinical operations of the practice and financial management of clinical operations. This includes training and supervising other associates and practice management tasks. You must be able to work in a fast paced environment with a team. Your role is also subject to weekend duties on a rotating roster

Veterinary Nurse:
Position: Veterinary Nurse – Full-time or Part-time

- Someone who likes to be valued and rewarded for your hard work, you have useful advice on practical ways to make change for the better, and you are outstanding at putting changes into action.
- So excited about certain aspects of your work that you just can’t wait to be given the opportunity to learn more.
- A Cert IV or equivalent Veterinary nurse with at least 2 years of full-time paid experience living within one hour’s journey of our hospital during peak hour traffic.
THE POSITION
- Assisting Veterinarians to administer anaesthetics and oxygen during operations, then placing animals in cages for recovery from operations and monitoring their condition
- Giving medications to animals
- Providing animal care advice, and preparing, delivering, and reviewing animal care education programs
- May act as receptionist, accept payments, and undertake clerical work

About our practice
At Mona Vale Veterinary Hospital, we offer a broad range of clinical services and surgeries to an array of animal species.

- A lovely bunch of people who enjoy each other’s company – 5 experienced vets, 1 recent veterinary graduate, 6 Cert IV nurses, 1 nurse just a whisker away from their Cert IV accreditation, 1 Cert III nurse, 4 kennel hands, 2 receptionists (both Cert IV nurses), a practice manager…… and a partridge in a pear tree!!!!
